An urban cyclocross and short track mountain bike race in Reading, PA. The course involves pavement, grass and optional obstacles in City Park. Laps are short but challenging, testing your off-road skills.
We have an Open Citizen’s race (no USAC license required, any bike acceptable), U19 and Elite cyclocross race and U19 and Elite short track mountain bike races for men, women.
CYCLOCROSS
The cyclocross course is all on grass and pavement. Designed by Bill Elliston, each lap will be about 1km in length, giving you a lot of laps in this urban setting.
MOUNTAIN BIKE
The ideal mountain bike line is the “short line” which includes man-made obstacles. This will reduce the lap distance by a few meters, and you’ll probably get a better cheer from the beer garden.
KIDS FUN RUN
Our Kid’s Fun Run is open to any kiddo under 12 who wants to run on the course. Many of the Reading Recreation Commissions Parks Programs kids run so we encourage everyone to come out and give it a shot!
